The sun came out during our third day at Cumberland Falls, KY, so we went back to the falls to enjoy it while we could.


Mining for "gold".

The falls were really swollen with all the rain.

We walked down to a lower observation deck to see the falls up close.  Pretty amazing!

We weren't equipped for all the rain, so we bought three little umbrellas.  The girls were so delighted.

We ate our lunches and dinners in Aunt Beth's and Uncle Jim's cabin.

Aunt Beth taught Claire and Katie the Bumblebee Song, which they loved. 

Aunt Carol and Eric taught Meg how to make a hexaflexagon.
